US food contact certification

FDA

FDA is the abbreviation of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It is an authoritative international medical review agency. It is authorized by the U.S. Congress, the federal government, and is the highest law enforcement agency specializing in food and drug administration. The FDA is a government health regulatory regulatory agency composed of doctors, lawyers, microbiologists, pharmacologists, chemists, statisticians and other professionals dedicated to protecting, promoting and improving national health. Food, drugs, cosmetics and medical devices certified by the FDA are safe and effective for the human body. In nearly 100 countries including the United States, only materials, devices and technologies approved by the FDA can be commercialized for clinical application.

EU food contact certification

SGS

SGS certification refers to SGS's compliance certification services for targets based on standards, regulations, customer requirements and other conditions. Founded in 1878, it is the world's largest and oldest private third-party multinational company engaged in product quality control and technical appraisal. Headquartered in Geneva, it has more than 1,800 branches and professional laboratories and more than 59,000 professional and technical personnel around the world, carrying out product quality inspection, monitoring and assurance activities in 142 countries.

US food contact certification

CPC

Manufacturers and importers of children’s products must certify, in a written Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) based on test results from a CPSC-accepted laboratory, that their children’s products comply with applicable children’s product safety rules. The CPC and supporting test reports must be in English.

EU food contact certification

EC(Europe Food Contact)

Within the EU, all food contact materials and articles that come into contact with food must comply with the European Framework Regulation (EC) 1935/2004. The regulation states that food contact materials must not threaten human health or cause changes in the composition, odor or taste of food. In addition, all food contact materials should be produced in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) of Regulation (EC) 2023/2006.

Canada food contact certification

CCPSA

Canadian CCPSA certification, which stands for Canadian Consumer Product Safety Act (Consumer Product Safety Act), is a law and regulation for consumer product quality and safety established by the Canadian government. This certification aims to ensure that consumer products sold on the Canadian market meet strict safety standards, protect the rights and interests of consumers, and prevent potential hazards and risks.

EU food contact certification

CE

The "CE" mark is a safety certification mark that is regarded as a passport for manufacturers to open and enter the European market. CE stands for CONFORMITE EUROPEENNE. All products bearing the "CE" mark can be sold in each EU member state without having to meet the requirements of each member state, thus achieving the free circulation of goods within the EU member states.
In the EU market, the "CE" mark is a compulsory certification mark. Whether it is a product produced by an enterprise within the EU or a product produced in other countries, if it wants to circulate freely in the EU market, it must be affixed with the "CE" mark to indicate that the product Comply with the basic requirements of the European Union's "New Approach to Technical Coordination and Standardization" directive. This is a mandatory requirement imposed by EU law on products.
